About The Author
Barbara S Harris
Barbara grew up in a very musical family in Oberlin, Ohio, the daughter of German immigrant parents. She graduated early from high school at age 16 and began touring with the Trapp Family Singers soon after.
Following her touring years she graduated from Oberlin College with a BA in music, then later an MA in music from the University of Hawaii. She then studied a year in Germany as a Fulbright Fellow. She taught music and German in both private and public schools in Michigan, and has performed in choirs in Germany, Oberlin, Cleveland, Honolulu and Lansing, Michigan. She is married, has two grown children and lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
